Uttar Pradesh Sports Karate Association an affiliated unit of National Governing Body "Karate Association of India" in association with GLA University, Mathura is going to organize the Uttar Pradesh State Karate Championship 2024 on June 8-9, 2024, in our university. This prestigious event aims to promote sports culture within the region. The championship will feature team categories across various age groups, including Cadet 14 & 15 yrs, Junior 16 & 17yrs, Under 21 & Senior 18+. Distinguished guests gracing the occasion include Mr. Baikunth Singh (President KAI), Mr. Yogesh Kalra (Sec. Gen.  KAI), Mr. Jaidev Sharma (National Head Coach KAI), Mr. Avinash Sethi (Treasurer KAI), Mr. Pawan Goel (President UPSKA), Sh. Vivek Agrawal (CFO GLA University & Sports Commission Chairman UPSKA), Mr. Amit Singh (Sports Commission Secretary UPSKA), Sh. Ashok Kumar Singh (Registrar GLA University). The event will be coordinated by Mr. Hareeom Shukla, Karate Coach, along with the Sports Department of GLA University. GLA University warmly welcomes all competitors, coaches, referees, officials, and volunteers to participate and support this event, fostering athletic excellence and sportsmanship in Uttar Pradesh.
