Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the most rapidly growing fields of Engineering. If you take all the current development as a holistic picture, there is over three times increase in demand for EC engineers per year. And it has been increasing exponentially. Hardware, Firmware, and software are becoming more and more integrated and interdependent. As things are becoming smarter every day, the need for better VLSI engineers is ever increasing. In addition, with the advent of communication techniques, there is a lot of demand in the telecom industry. Admission
The main objective of the B. Tech ECE program is to train students with the necessary core competencies to enable them to excel in engineering/entrepreneurship careers after completing the course. The curriculum enables students to get a strong foundation on different aspects of ECE as compulsory core courses. The students are also provided opportunities to choose specialization electives courses in their areas of interest, such as communication and Signal Processing, Control and Embedded systems, and VLSI Technology and Design. In addition to this, soft skills, industrial training, mini-projects, and Minor & Major Projects are also integral parts of the B.Tech course curriculum.
