Sustainability ensures we continue getting the benefit of a particular technology. IoT has promised to change the current practices in Industries. Industries use lots of natural resources such as water and electricity (produced from fossil fuel). With growing population production has been increasing across industries. However this cannot continue because natural resources are depleting day by day. In this tutorial it will be explained how IoT can intervene and make the industry sustainable. Real life examples will be presented.

With the increased penetration of Inverter Based Resources (IBR) into the conventional grid, it is becoming more prominent to utilize the EMT (Electro-Magnetic Transients) type models to access the transmission system stability. Positive Sequence Models has its own limitations and hence can not capture the small signal instability issues in the grid. Most transmission system operators are now demanding the EMT type PSCAD models to better assess the system conditions and identify the stability challenges before it cause any damage to the grid. This webinar is focussed on laying out the basic framework to develop such models and how root-cause analysis can be performed on the grid connected IBR plants.
