Energy Efficient Street Light Automation

Controls the street light based on the ambient light intensity.

Procedure
Learn:
  • Learn about popular development board ArduinoUNO, light sensor.
  • Learn how to actuate the street light by analyzing the data from sensors.
Implement:
  • Test the sensor & actuator circuits, UNO development board individually.
  • Implement the designed hardware circuit & power up the circuit.
  • Ensure that all the components involved are powered up with desired voltage levels.
Design:
  • Design a hardware circuit using the provided sensors & automatically control the street light.
Test:
  • Test the hardware circuit in various application use cases & make it functional, robust.
Present:
  • Design a street light system as in your university campus & place components with proper wire lengths. Yay!! the project is functionally ready to showcase.
