About ISCON

The fourth IEEE International Conference and 10th conference in sequence on Information Systems & Computer Networks (ISCON - 2019) is a forum in which deliberations will be held on various topics pertaining to Information Systems and Computer Networks. Information Systems addresses the challenges for the gathering, processing, storing, distributing and use of information, and its associated technologies, for society and organizations. The computer networks is an emerging domain and a basis for wide variety of research covering various kinds of network like distributed network, ad-hoc network, sensor network, content centric network, grid computing, peer to peer networks, different wireless networks, etc. The networks domain has generated challenges for transmission of various data formats in secure form, making technology available for real time data exchange and so on. Up-to-date, complete and accurate information has now become a necessity to survive in an increasingly competitive world. Modern organizations become more and more dependent over information systems to deal with the complexity and changeability of the modern system.

An information system is essentially made up of five components hardware, software, database, network and people. These five components integrate to perform input, process, output, feedback and control. Hardware consists of input/output device, processor, operating system and media devices. Internet of Things (IOT) consists of emerging technologies to communicate between software/hardware components. Innovative wireless communication and data networking technologies are required to support IOT technologies. For smaller size and improved performance, whole System is required to be implemented as system on chip (SOC), which requires integration of transmitter, receiver, antenna, filters, power supply and peripheral devices integrated on single chip as SOC. SOC are required to be implemented with state of the art VLSI and signal processing technologies.

The 4th IEEE International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON-2019) will take place in Mathura during 21st - 22nd November 2019. It will be organized by Department of Computer Engineering and Applications, GLA University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. All accepted & presented papers of the Conference by duly registered authors, will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library for Publication with Scopus Indexing. Please note that the Proceedings of ISCON-2019 will be published:

Special Session Organization is encouraged. The goal of these special sessions is to provide a forum for focused discussions on new topics or innovative applications of established approaches. A special session could address a particular theme. Sessions of similar topics may be proposed, if needed we will schedule them at different slots over the conference period. Special Sessions should be focused and provide both an overview of the state-of-the-art, as well as highlight the most promising research directions, trends and challenges in the proposed field.

If interested, please submit a one-page proposal, no later than March 20, 2019, via email with the subject line "ISCON 2019 Special Session Proposal" to the Conference Chair Prof. Dilip Kumar Sharma (iscon2019@gla.ac.in)

Proposers should submit the following information with their submission:
  • Special Session Title
  • Short description of proposed field (one paragraph)
  • Novelty and motivation (one to two paragraphs), including why this topic is of interest to the ISCON community
  • Short biography of the organizers
  • List of contributed papers (titles, authors w. affiliations, and a short abstract). The targeted number of papers per session is 6-15(Registered).
Proposals will be evaluated based on topic novelty and associated impact, organizing committee qualifications, as well as the proposed list of contributed papers. Special Session submissions at ISCON 2019 are reviewed via the same exact process as submissions to the regular program, and papers are expected to meet the same quality standards. For Special Sessions that are somewhat undersubscribed (due to paper rejections or limited number of submissions), an effort will be made to identify regular submission papers to complete the session, as deemed appropriate by the conference organizers. If a Special Session is seriously undersubscribed the Special Session may be canceled, in which case the accepted papers from the canceled Special Session will be placed into the regular program.

Important Dates for Special Sessions Proposal:
  • Proposal submission: March 20, 2019
  • Notification of proposal acceptance: March 30, 2019
