The Institute will organize ‘Moot Court’ to provide hands-on practice to students. A ‘moot court’ is an extracurricular activity in which students participate in simulated court or arbitration proceedings for practice. They research relevant laws, prepare written submissions and oral arguments to analyze and argue both sides of legal issues, using real life procedures from state and national courts.

The central library has more than one hundred & fifty thousand books, journals, magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias and thousands of CDs focusing on the vast areas of knowledge. Each department has its own well-stocked library apart from the central library. Being a member of DELNET, the University has access to more than two crore bibliographic records. 36 thousand-plus periodicals, number of CDs and eBooks. Air-conditioned reading rooms in the central library open till midnight. The Library is fully automated using KOHA-Integrated Library Management System and linked with other institute's libraries, which will enable users to search library's collections.
Every department has 'classless classes' to help the students learn anytime, anywhere around the campus through online lectures.

Students at GLA can avail internet facility on all the computers in the laboratories as well as in their hostels through 1GBPS bandwidth from BSNL under NKN scheme of Govt. of India and 155 MBPS from UP Communication Services Pvt. Ltd.
The playing fields for various outdoor sports deserve special mention as they are spread across the university campus. Verdant surroundings are the hallmark of the university and these playing grounds are no exception to the same. All the playing grounds are located strategically across the university thereby making sports part of one’s life no matter where the person is in the university.
