Aeromodelling Club: Two days workshop on RC-Plane || Nov 17-18, 2017
It is our pleasure to inform you that “Aeromodelling Club”, in association with "NVM Skytex Private Limited” is going to organize a Two days’ workshop under the aegis of Department of Mechanical Engineering as “RC-plane Workshop” on Nov 17-18, 2017 from 09.30 AM onwards at GLA University, Mathura.
About RC-Plane: A radio-controlled aircraft (often called RC-plane) is a small flying machine (a small model of aircraft made by styro foam or balsa wood) that is controlled remotely by an operator on the ground using a hand-held radio transmitter. The transmitter communicates with a receiver within the craft that sends signals to servos which move the control surfaces on the position of joysticks on the transmitter. The control surfaces, in turn, affect the orientation of the plane.
Scientific, government and military organizations are also using RC aircraft for experiments, gathering weather readings, aerodynamic modeling and testing. Unmanned aerial vehicle (drones) or spy planes add video or autonomous capabilities, and may be armed.

The company is committed to provide quality service by mean of airborne/mobile lidar & photogrammetry in domains such as urban planning, corridor mapping, infrastructure development & management to name a few.

Resource Person (Trainers):
Mr. Mohit Gupta: Mohit did his B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering from Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. He got AIR 30 In GATE-AE-2013 and pursued his Masters in Aerodynamics from IIT Kanpur. He has worked in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics and its usage to solve many industrial problems. He worked as CFD engineer in Sankhya Sutra labs incubated at JNCASR, Bengaluru. He is working on drag reduction techniques for UAVs. He works in designing the UAV based on mission specifications while optimizing it for best performance.
Mr. Naveen Jangra: Naveen did his B.Tech. from Amity University, Noida in Aerospace Engineering although he got a rank of AIR 562 in AIEEE-2010. He is passionate about technology driven ideas to make India self-reliable in technology. He has been working on the flying models since the age of six. He has already designed many airplanes and machines is on developing cutting edge technology. One of his patent, related to Sphere drone is under review in patent office. He has worked with two companies incubated at SIDBI, IIT Kanpur prior to found his own company.
